If you have a twin flame and they are the ones running away, it can feel very painful on your side as a twin flame chaser. But understanding what a twin flame runner goes through will help you get clarity on the situation.
You’ll be able to accept the moment, no matter how negative you think it is if you know.
What Does A Twin Flame Runner Go Through?
There are so many things going on in a twin flame runner’s head when they run away. First, they are overwhelmed by the intensity of the connection and they are very confused. They don’t want to cause you any pain but they are so torn apart.
Why are they confused and what do I mean by “they are torn apart”?
We’ll get into that later but first, let’s talk more about twin flame separation or what’s also called the running and chasing stage.
Twin Flame Separation
What is the twin flame separation?
It’s when you and your twin flame go through a messy time where you both can’t be together and have to be separated temporarily.
Depending on where you are in your spiritual journey, and how much work you’ve done for yourself, it can take as short as a month or as long as many years.
Know that the separation stage happens for a reason. You both have spiritual things to work on before it’s safe for you to meet again and hopefully next time for union.
Remember that an inner union has to happen before you can have a physical union.
You both have to work on yourselves. You both need to be able to be happy on your own.
Twin Flame Runner
So the twin flame separation stage can also be called the running and chasing stage. The other one is the one who runs away while the other tries to chase the twin and make the relationship work.
The twin flame chaser is not scared and understands that the other person is the twin flame. The chaser knows that they should be in each other’s lives so they chase.
The twin flame runner is usually the one who is not as far off on their spiritual journey. The connection is too intense and they are not spiritually awake enough to understand what’s going on.
A twin flame relationship is rare and can also be very intense. Your twin is the other half of your soul so he/she is like the mirror of your soul.
Your twin reflects back to you all the parts of yourself, the good and the bad.
If you’re not ready to face the bad parts, it might scare you and cause you to run away.
That’s why the twin flame runner distances his/herself from the twin.
Twin Flame Separation Ending Signs
After the twin flame separation, the next step is the twin flame reunion. This is the final stage of the 8 twin flame stages.
Once you’ve reached this stage, you will be together forever. But what are the signs that the separation stage is almost over?
I used to believe that I needed a partner to feel whole.
Because I was introverted and didn’t have a large social circle, I assumed I needed an outgoing spouse. I assumed I needed a confident partner because I lacked confidence.
Instead of doing the work myself, such as developing my own tribe and growing my confidence and self-esteem, I was looking for a partner to do it for me.
I never felt whole when I was alone until I started working on myself and realized I needed to feel complete first in order to attract my ideal spouse.
And when I started doing that, my twin flame entered my life at a time when I was at a place where I didn’t even think I needed a partner.
I felt great about myself, my single status, and what I had done. So there was no sense of urgency.
When you have no lack in your life, you will be able to attain the final stage which is twin flame reunion.

What Does A Twin Flame Runner Go Through?
1: They Are Overwhelmed And Confused
Well, the first thing I can tell you is that they don’t know either. When I was running, that was a very confusing time of my life.
In the separation stage, the difference between what your twin flame is feeling and what you’re feeling is that you’re probably feeling a lot of anger, sadness, confusion, and other very strong emotions.
While the runner is denying and putting aside their feelings in a box, pretending they’re not there because they’re so full of anxiety, fear, and lack of understanding.
The truth is that most twin flame runners have not come as far in their spiritual journey as the twin flame runners.
Usually, they don’t know the reason why they are running. I didn’t know at the time that I was a twin flame runner.
I had my suspicions that Steph could be my twin flame but at that time, that was just an ancient myth that I wasn’t sure existed.
This was because I had no other people in my life who were twin flames.
So running is usually not a conscious decision on the twin flame runners’ part.
2: They Don’t Want To Cause You Any Pain
Having your twin flame run from you causes a lot of low vibration and pain but what I want you to know is that their unconditional love for you never stops.
You are married on higher dimensions, anyway. It’s just in the 3D that there’s a little bit of a mess because we have egos, right?

Your twin flame doesn’t actually want to cause you any pain. I know that’s hard to believe, but they don’t.
They care about you so much but they are just so torn apart.
The twin flame runner loves you and doesn’t want to hurt you but their life path calls for a period of separation.
It’s really hard when your soul wants something but the universe is calling you to do something else for the moment.
If they had a choice, they would stay. It’s confusing for them and they don’t understand but deep in their soul, they know that it’s what’s best for both of you and so they’re just following the signs of the universe.
3: They Think About You All The Time
Since they might not be texting you or calling you, then it might appear that they’re not thinking about you.
But that’s not true. I was thinking about my twin flame every single day during the separation stage.
I was trying so hard not to contact my twin flame because my intuition is telling me not to.
My intuition was telling me that I needed the space and that I needed to distance myself from him.
This doesn’t mean that I don’t care about what he feels. I’m just following what my gut was telling me.
I really felt like if I returned now, it won’t do any f us any good. I felt called to be alone and now I know why.
I needed to work on myself. I needed to learn how to love myself because it’s impossible to love someone else if I don’t even know how to do that for myself.
When you love yourself, that’s when you can overflow.

If your twin flame runner is not contacting you, know that they are always thinking about you. They’re just choosing themselves for now because that’s where their path is leading them at the moment.
Once they’ve done the work on themselves, they will be able to embrace the union fully and you will both have a harmonious life together.
3: It’s Hard FOr Them To Accept The Twin Flame Union Concept
When one twin flame runner quits a relationship, the other does not believe or is not yet receptive to the notion of twin flames.
It takes time for someone to accept the concept of twin flames, and it might be difficult for both of you if they leave while they are still skeptical.
If a person has only ever had common ties with others, they are unlikely to believe in the notion of twin flame union.
This is natural, and you should just accept that it will take time for them to change their minds.

Twin Flame return signs are the symptoms that persons who have been separated from their twin flame may feel when they re-enter their lives.
The following are some of the most prevalent, yet often overlooked, signs that a person’s Twin Flame has returned to them.

Angel numbers are numbers that occur in particular numerical patterns or sequences on clocks, license plates, billboards, and other items.
The number 11:11 is regarded as one of the most potent angel numbers.
For example, if you were thinking about your twin flame and then saw a clock that read 11:11, it would indicate that they were thinking about you at the moment.
Seeing a lot of these angel numbers before your twin flame returns might provide you with a lot of comfort.
The universe is trying to tell you something.
that the stars are aligned and your twin flame is going to resurface.
The first clue is sometimes disregarded since it may have been a coincidence or an illusion generated by your imagination.

When you feel compelled to travel somewhere, even if it’s somewhere you don’t generally go, it may be the universe directing you to meet your twin flame runner there!
You may question why you are being drawn to a specific location, but this is when you should trust your instincts.
It’s possible that your twin flame is beckoning you there, wanting you to be by their side and relive the joy of being together.
Anybody who has used their intuition understands that when you get a sudden impulse to go somewhere, it’s sometimes wise to follow that instinct and see what awaits you.
The cosmos cannot send you a letter instructing you to “go to this beach on Sunday at 3pm.”
Instead, you’ll have a sudden need to go there that you won’t be able to describe.

When they’ve reached this stage, they will then be together forever. There may be some arguments, of course.
It’s part of human life. But t won’t be as intense and their relationships will be usually harmonious.
